One on One Poker
A few poker rooms offer one on one poker. Prima Poker has made provision for the option which means you will find this game at 3 Piggs Poker Room. Selected games in the Multi-Player Poker suite can be played as 1-on-1. 1-on-1 Poker (also known as heads up poker) plays the same as its parent game, but has the following differences:
- Only two Players can play a game of 1-on-1 Poker
- The maximum number of bets permitted per betting round is six
- The buy-in limit is set by the card room. Players are informed when they are seated whether their buy-in amount is sufficient
- The object of the game is to finish with a stronger poker hand than your opponent, and win the pot
Tips:
- No question about it, all the experts agree, one on one poker is best played aggressively
- With only one opponent, you will get use all your psychological skills to trap and beat your opponent
- Feel your opponent out. See if you can find a pattern to bets made, calls made, and folds
