Caribbean Stud Poker
Caribbean Stud Poker is a very popular game played at all online casinos today. It is a game where, there can be as many as 7 players sitting at the same table, but each player will play against the house and not against the other players.
At the start of the game each player places an Anti before any cards are dealt. The amount that is placed on the table must neither be more or less than the limits that have been posted by the online casino or house. At this stage a wager could be put on a Progressive Jackpot. This is an extra bet and is put to one side of the table, but has no bearing on the Anti that has just been placed.
Once all the bets are on the table, five cards are dealt to each player and to the house. Each player then picks up his cards and arranges the cards accordingly in his hand to make the best poker selection that he/she can. The house cards remain face down except for one card which is placed face up.
Once each player has had the chance to look at their cards, and will then either fold or call. There is no option to call in this game, as this round of betting has to equal exactly double the Anti. After this round of betting, the house then turn over the remaining four cards and the winner will then be declared.
The house has to have an Ace-King high to qualify to stay in the game, but this rule does not apply to the players. If the house fails to have an Ace-King high they are automatically disqualified and the player automatically wins.
However if the house has a Ace-King high, the player has to beat the houses hand to claim his winnings.
